Google Maps API or tool

I am doing some work (free) for a non-for-profit but I have a gap in my skills with the Google Maps side of things.
really cheeky - but would anyone fancy doing some (free) work with the API just 2 maps required.
Or pointing me in the direction of the online tools that are easy to learn?
