Leaving Zen

[link to this post]

I want to leave Zen because I think they are expensive to 2meg broadband and now they are putting a cap on what I download.

I am looking for an ISP who has a good ratings like zen who don't try and charge you when you go over your monthly limit. I definately want to stop paying

Are you looking at staying with the 2mb fixed speed product?

Where can I find out more about vivaciti user experiences and company history? I realise they got a web site and what appears to be a company sponsored forum but that is not what I am after. I'd like to research them a little deeper as a prospective supplier.

Cheers

Hi,
The forum is not company sponsored it is an independent forum, that is not even moderated by us, and we have no control over it.

Oh right, thanks for that, it just looked very company sponsored. Not so sure I'm going to bother with broadband anymore as I've become a bit disenfranchised towards it all now. Last few weeks have made me perhaps a bit too cynical to imagine how it could work out whoever I would have ended up with.

I just can't feel inclined to trust anyone anymore. It's worth pointing out that I had no hand in what has gone wrong, it was entirely the actions of others and as such beyond my sphere of influence. The fact that there is effectively nothing to stop any ISP behaving that way is in the main what is causing the disillusionment.

Still 5 years was not a bad run I guess.

Cheers

Hi,
Thays OK, there are a lot of people that are completely feb up with the broadband industry, a large number of the bigger players (and one or 2 small ones) that forget about the customer and more about the numbers, so it is easy to understand how you feel, but I would just like to say not all providers are the same, and if your looking for someone, forget all the big glossy adds, or campains, and just listem to the customers, always the best way to get the better providers.
