Another which ISP thread

[link to this post]

Hi all. I'm after a new ISP after a bad time with Euro1net & then tiscali for the past year.

I can only get 1MB broadband at my house due to being 3.46km from exchange (birds path) plus poor copper. Tiscali are only giving me 600k after a botched upgrade.

I cannot get Cable so that must be ruled out.

I want an unlimited connection with no speed throttling on P2P. I don't use P2P a lot but I want the option of not having to worry about P2P with no speed restrictions. i probably use 15 - 40GB per month.

I have been thinking about getting the Sky Max connection but have heard they throttle the speed.

Cheers
Tim.

Have a look at the Entanet resellers (e.g. ADSL24, UKFSN), IDNet, Zen.

I've never heard of or seen any evidence that Sky on Max throttle - I doubt you would get ADSL2+ on Max with your position from the exchange, but you could get the Max FUP etc.
