guess you did not check the forums out here, who seem to suggest that unless ur some granny who browses the odd web site and the odd bit of email, your experience will be worse and a great way to lose your hair as it gets pulled out in frustration

hope it gets better for u as suspect it wont

Nice one Dave, thanks for the blog. Thinking of getting Talk Talk - heard it's an improvement on Tisali (which isn't saying much it would seem!).

It's for my parents who will not use internet much, and have relatives overseas so the free international calls will save a ton.

What are your thoughts now? Regretting talk talk? anyone out there happy with them?

Thanks for the reply.

Its hard work with talktalk. The one big plus point is that its , in effect, free. I dont download large files so it doesnt cause me too much problem apart from my daughter getting frustrated not getting online sometimes particularly as she's doing her GCSEs.

If I could afford it I would use another ISP. I was with plusnet before and had no problems but it cost me about 15 per month (although I understand plusnet has been taken over by BT so I dont know if that will affect them.)

Regards Dorset Dave

I'm still getting poor download speeds. Also when I switch on my router it doesnt always have a connection on so I have to switch the router off and on (but this could be the router I suppose) Update by dorsetdave March 08
