o2 Broadband - too good to be true?

I am currently with NewNet paying �21.95 a month on Home S for upto 8Mb and 20Gb of data. The service is very reliable and fast.

However, I have noticed what appears to be a fantasic deal from o2, just �10 a month (I am an o2 mobile user) for upto 16Mb and unlimited data.

The only "catch" I can see is o2 has a 12 month minimum contract, although they counter this with 50 day money back guarantee.

This deal seems almost too good to be true. Is it?

Is Be/O2 available on your exchange? Check Samknows to find out. If available it is for now at least genuinely unlimited and fast. They also have a �50 early exit fee if you want to cancel within the first 12 months after the 50 day money back guarantee period.

Almost certainly a good deal. O2 seems to be up with the good ones.

Only question is what speed will you actually get, it may not be worth signing up for the 16Mbps service.

If you post your line stats - sync, attenuation and noise margin, (SNRM), we can make a good guess. Error stats useful as well but not essential.
