BT to ?

[link to this post]

I'm asking for a friend so not totally solid information and I'm guessing a bit on some things.

He's currently on BT Option 2 (he thinks with contract up shortly) and wants something cheaper, more reliable (speeds have been very variable though no apparent connection problems) and a more flexible download limit.

As far as I know his download per month, and I'm guessing, is about 15-20 Gig. He's on the Hainault exchange so quite a few provider options it seems.

It seems his Attenuation is 23 down and 8 up.

He doesn't want a package just broadband.

I've got most of this info over the phone so quite sketchy I know.

Any ideas welcome so I can suggest those to him. I was thiking Be might be a good option?

Cheers

Sky (LLU) if he has/wants Sky TV.

Be or O2 (LLU) depending on whether he has an O2 mobile contract or not.

User MKD has a Be/O2 comparison document linked to his signature.

Indeed. I think I might use him as a guinea pig as I'm thinking of Be myself.

Cheers for confirmation.
