ISP with a short contract - fair pricing

Hi I am wondering what ISP's do short contracts, 6 months or less. When times are so uncertain, I don't like to tie myself into a long contract.

Can anyone help?

Entanet resellers with 30GB of peak usage is enough for anyone. At weekends and nighttime its unmetered so download to your hearts content. Peak hours 8am-12am Mon-Fri. 30GB is £18.95 depending upon reseller it varies by a few pence.

Trouble is you seem to be the only Entanet user on these forums with such a wonderful experience.

I do not dispute your experience, but you should state that is what it is. You present it as a pure matter of fact - that the product specification at all reflects the reality for many.

If the OP browses the Entanet forum he/she may develop doubts about your recommendation.

You're not mentioning the ALT and random marking system?

Hiya! Thanks! At the moment I am looking at Newnet, AOL (I can't find out what happens if I go over my download allowance) I think most probably will go with BE, I've been told they are pretty good

Be are very good, but have you checked you can get them?

If you can then they do have a 3-month contract option but it is more expensive than the 12-month.

It would also be worth looking at MKD's O2/Be comparison, especially the costing page at the end.

Depending on a few factors there you might find the best bet is a 12-month contract with O2 because it can be cheaper to buy out the 12-months almost from the start than to pay higher monthly charges anywhere else. (But if you cannot get O2/Be LLU then do not go for O2 Access).
