Cheapest Unlimited Broadband in a 2mbps area?

A college at work is currently with Orange is has been told they're upping their monthly change to £25 a month. She tells me she lives in a 2meg area (SR4 8JG) and is now looking at o2s unlimited pack, any other ISPs & packages you guys can recommend (the cheaper the better).

dont go on o2 broadband access its useless.

how much do you download a month and what do you use it for?

try tiscali m8 i no alot of ppl slag them off but i been with them for ages i get the full 8 meg and i download about 250gig a month and never had any probs. they r cheap aswell. 14.99 www.tiscali.co.uk

She used it from browsing to downloading and streaming a lot of media.
Also her son uses it for Xbox Live all the time.

I've heard tiscali has issues with Live?

What do you mean a 2meg area? she's only down the road from the exchange. She could get the full 8megs or 24Megs if only LLU was available.

she can only get 2meg max according to BT and she's on the wrong side of town for cable.

which to me is showing that cable is now available at this postcode, so i would double check the virgin media website to find out if this is right

I think the SamKnows site just provides details of the services available in the exchange area, not what's available at the postcode address.
