Moving from Sky Fibre to where?

Hi all,
I am currently with Sky Fibre unlimited (and evening and weekend call) and am thinking of switching.
Price wise, I am looking for Fibre BB with anytime call and line rental included, around £33 per month,
Vodafone, EE, and Origin seem to be offering the same package I want for around the same price point. I have been looking at reviews etc and of course they have negative reviews just like any other companies. For example, Vodafone seems to provide unreliable router, EE and Origin seems to have bad customer service etc.
But I would like to know if any of them I should really avoid, i.e. if they are rebranded Talk Talk etc etc.
Any suggestions / personal experiences etc would be much appreciated.

Vodafone will now provide connection userid and password so that you can use any router. When asking for these details it may be helpful if you can confirm that you are using a particular router on the BT approved list. Vodafone will not provide any advice as to how to use an alternative router. If you want to complain about service quality you need to use the Vodafone router.

I think Origin are probably to be avoided because of poor help desk support.

So, is Vodafone's router that really bad then?
I don't really want to have to subscribe then buy a new router myself.

I believe the main problem is poor wifi when there are many devices maybe more than a dozen. I bought a 2nd hand VMG8924-B10A on ebay for £40. Appears to work OK. You can see the comments of customers in the Vodafone section of this web site and also on Vodafone's own forum.

While I don't have a dozen devices connected to WIFI at home, reading the forum has put me off a bit signing up with Vodafone.

EE is BT wholesales? I am reluctant to sign up to BT as they were really bad when I did last time. They lied to me to prevent me from cancelling.

So, what's the option?

sky charge me £7 for line rental which no other providers seem to offer, try them again.

moving for financial reasons can bite you in the backside as you risk technical issues with the service.

Also caller id is inclusive on sky but not on most other providers, so if you use that feature take that into consideration also.
