ADSL24 and UKFSN...is there any difference?

I have looked through both sites in great detail...I really can't see any difference between the two, both packages i'm interested in look excellent (1MB fixed rate unlimited), prices are the same, seems as though neither messes with your traffic...is there any major difference between the two? I am aware they're both Enta resellers so they're gonna be very similar, but Vivaciti is also an Enta reseller and they seem quite different, cheaper also for what I want, but with a FUP and an awkward peaktime for me. Anyways, back on target...any major differences I should know of?

In terms of basic ADSL provision and bandwidth to/from the rest of the internet, they are all the same in most cases as they are resellers of the same products from Entanet.

Some resellers have extra products through arrangements with other providers - I believe some of Vivaciti's more expensive business plans are through Griffin for example, but unless your needs are in that area this won't make an difference to you.

They do also differ in the value-added services they offer (email, web space, and so forth) so if these services are important to you I suggest you look more closely at the finer details. Personally I like to keep my mail/web/other hosting away from my ISP, partly for extra flexibility/control and partly to reduce "lock-in".

The other differences you might find are in the area of customer service responses if something goes wrong.

I suggest you browse through the Entanet forum on ThinkBroadband where you might find more specific recommendations/opinions on the different resellers.

UKFSN use a London 020 8 number whereas ADSL24 use a Freephone 0800 number.

However once you are a customer most deaings on any billing or service failure issue will be with Entanet who annoyingly use an 0870 number and have gone to a lot of trouble to close down and hide the real geographic phone number for them listed at www.saynoto0870.com! :-(
