Be

Hi all

I am considering moving to the unlimited Be service, from a disasterous 5 months with Sky

Can anybody in the Milton Keynes area, specifically the Bradwell Abbey exchange area let me know there experiences with Be, and the sort of speed and stability they get.

I am about 1.3km as the crow flies with a cable length of 3.3km and a attenuation of around 50db

Any feed back appreciated

I'm in much the same boat leaving Pipex after 5 years, however I'm asking some fairly probing questions since I'm no longer new to all this now, and I'll be honest I am getting a few answers from BE that struck me as being a bit woolly actually.

What does not help is that the phone line is always of appalling quality when I call their sales department. That's not a sign I was hoping for to be quite brutal. If it were just sometimes a bit poor, then fair enough, but it's never been good so far ever. I'm trying to imagine having a CS call with that situation, and it's not all that appealing frankly.

BE are high on my shortlist, but I'm still not fully sure about them.

I got pipex to agree to issue a MAC today though, they only dragged agreeing to issue one out for 4 days, so not too bad I suppose. They were not as bad as this when we joined, but they surely are now.
