Are they any good? I know they have cap in place and an FUP which is all much of a muchness in this era. but do they do the following.

1) throttle or traffic shape P2P (or do they allow you to do what you want until you reach the cap)
2) What's the CS like (although I have never needed it I like to know it's there)

I like the luck of them but I am also quite happy with my current ISP but their cap on their Max package is just slightly low and would prefere a 2Mb with a more generous cap rather than Max with a smaller cap

They are an Entanet reseller so plenty of info on them in the Entanet forum:
http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=entanet

I dont think they they do have an FUP in place in terms of data usage, as they have a fixed cap. ISP's tend to use one or the other, not both.

They dont throttle p2p traffic or any other protocols, however Entanet do have a shaping system in place that slows down all users accross a central pipe at times of high demand. The lower rate of this is 2Mb, but contention can push it lower. In my experience though speeds dont usually drop much below 2Mb speeds.

Not sure what their CS is like but they seem to be generally well regarded and you can also use Entanet for technical support anyway.

I would say Entanet resellers are a good bet for the time being. My only fear is that the bubble is going to burst one day, but until (or indeed if) that day ever arrives I'll stick with them. Just my 2p.

Hi,
We do not only sell ADSL products through Enta, the FUP based products are supplied through different providers.

Hi,
It would depend on the package you was looking at that would reflect what FUP you get with each product.

oops, sorry about that. I had made an assumption that the OP was referring to an Entanet home max product.
