Anyone ever had their DSL disabled accidentaly?

[link to this post]

On the 20th we lost our dsl connection, my router lost its dsl light, and it would either tell me the line wasn't yet activated or trying to train.

The most i could get from my isp was that an engineer an accidentaly deactivated the dsl for 4 customers at our exchange.

We got it back today, the 23rd

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Blackmail? Don't even know who the engineer was, but what ever happened to responsibility, or notifying the customer?

Why did BT deny it and keep telling me to contact my isp? Like my isp has its own engineers that go to the exchange, there is no local loop unbundling in our exchange, so of coarse, only a BT engineer was responsible
