Be Lite or Newnet?

Okay, so I've been with Pipex now for 4 years and although I haven't had a bad experience with them I think I am paying over the odds and would like a change.

I'm not a heavy user. I've been monitoring my usage for the last 18 months and haven't gone over 3 gb a month as yet. I was seriously considering Be Lite at

I have a similar usage profile to you. I was also debating between NewNet and Be which both have good reputations. In my case I plumped for NewNet as I couldn't see my usage increasing above the 3 GB cap on Home Lite. I pay monthly (

Of the two you mention Newnet would be my choice from reading reviews and forums and this applies to ID Net and Zen.
There are other good ISPs but they offer 12 month contracts which you say don't want.

I was a NewNet customer and only moved for a bundle; solid connection; high quality and fantastic customer service - a very good bandwidth provider.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to give Newnet a go. Just need to sort myself out with router first.

Your existing modem/router should work with NewNet (I thought they were all compatible with ADSL). You might need a more modern modem supporting ADSL2+ with Be.
