Which provider do not require a BT line?
My BT line was cut off after my previous tenant left and i don't fancy paying 125.
I will be living in this house for 6 months only, but i am happy to pay off the remaining 6 month monthly fee.

My exchange:

If you have little need for downloading anything more than surfing & email then this is a very interesting offer, details of which can be found here;

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips/24-09-2008/

"URGENT. Cheapest Ever Mobile Broadband for Laptops. Free 3G dongle 5/mth. A dongle is the thing you plug in laptops so you can get speedy internet anywhere (not just in wireless hotspots) via the mobile phone network. Theres a special half-price deal for one week only, to get a free dongle as part of an 18mth contract on the 3 network. It costs 5 a mth for a 1GB download limit or 7.50 for a huge 5GB. This is a ridiculously low price, just 90 over the contract life. This rate is part of a promotion 3 is running via cashback website Quidco."

Go direct to ; http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsummary2.aspx?offercode=18M5ECD006&id=1183

Worth considering in your situation. Good Luck.

Most of the providers on your area require a BT line, Almost all providers can get a line installed for 99+VAT, 1month contract with line rental at 11.50+VAT a month.
Ideal for Broadband.

There is the cable option, i think their 12 month contracts

Also in your area, is Urban Wimax.
Never heard of them before however you can go with VoIP for home phone, this means u can take it with you if you move.

Regards
Chris
