Hi, I have a Pay-as-you-go dial-up account with Tiscali, had the account since 2002 and use it as my main email account and can access it from my broadband account with another ISP. For all the bad publicity Tiscali get all I can say is their dial-up service is first class and very useful to have as a backup.

Non register dial-up http://www.free-dialup.net/

But we all know Tiscali are excellent at providing dialup services, even on broadband!

Bob: Demon dialup >> Freeserve dialup >> BT Broadband >> Prodigynet >> Newnet >> O2 Standard.
Purple Cloud for domain, email and web space.

Ha-Ha, I thought that might come back on me. Tiscali have a fantastic portal website for emails, netphone, SMS text, voice mail and fax, all with calls history, it is probably the best portal on the web.

http://netphone.tiscali.co.uk/

For Domestic or Business
The service operates with broadband or dial-up; you can choose how you want to pay. If you receive a monthly invoice from Tiscali, you can charge the cost of the credits to your next bill, or you can choose to pay by credit card. A netphone credit (5.00) like topping up a mobile phone.
