ISP with call centers in the UK

[link to this post]

Hi,
I am wanting to join an ISP that has UK customer support, here is a list of companies that advertise that fact:
Freedom2Surf
IDNet
Fast
o2

I also managed to find some that don't seem to advertise where their call centres are based:
BT
Virgin Media
Tiscali
Orange

Some might use both and some might be exclusively outsourced, either way it would be handy to know. If anyone else knows of any other ISP that offer UK only support then I would love to know them.

Thanks

I think NewNet, Zen, and the Entanet resellers are all UK support based.

This strikes me as a very strange thread and line of enquiry.

I don't think you are being straight with us.

What's so strange about asking what ISP's use UK call centres? Especially when they don't advertise it, which means I have to ask helpful people like you.

I am just wanting to create a list of ISP's and choose one according to price and support, is that so bad?

It would make more sense to say what type of use you will have, just browsing, email, shopping and banking for example, or large amounts of p2p downloads/uploads, or binary newsgroups. Or whatever. Then specify UK support - but we already know that. And your target price.

Also tell us your exchange, or look it up at samknows and either post a link to the result or tell us the exchange code. Then we know what ISPs are available to you.

There isn't much point in us checking out info for you regarding a huge list of ISPs when not all of them are available to you, and of the ones that are several don't make sense for your requirements or budget.

Do you already have broadband? If so, who with and why do you want to move - so we don't point you at one with similar drawbacks.

Your current line of enquiry looks more like a student research project.

informative and sensible as usual, but that list may be of some use to users who have a different base of availabilty.

You volunteering? There are over 200 ISPs and vISPs in the UK! Most of them will be UK support.
