Changing to Xilo.net

[link to this post]

I have recently discovered that Xilo are currently offering LLU (through C&W network) on their pro 16 home and office products at £14.99 and £19.99 respectively.

Unlimited usage with no port blocking, throttling or FUP, it sounds too good to be true, I am migrating over to them next Tuesday and will keep you posted on stats and figures etc. But for that sort of price it was too tempting not to switch, I am currently with Vivaciti, who are providing me with an LLU service (through C&W too) but this works out at a saving of over £80 a year.

I found it more tempting as they are currently offering a 50% discount on both BT and LLU migrates... (£5.50 BT and £20 LLU) - coupon: DSLMIG - enter it on sign up.

I did do a bit of research of their service and any whether there were any issues, but couldn't find out much out to be honest, they have been very quick to assist in any questions so far with their online sales chat facility and any tickets I have submitted (nice control panel interface).

Like I said, I will keep you posted, I am hoping the only change from my current provider over to them will be the extra £ in my pocket. As so far, Vivaciti have provided me with a great broadband service.

Ben,

As you're already on a product provided by the C&W LLU network, the service should be similar.

Of course, if there are any problems at all from the date your connection is migrated - do let us know via the portal and we'll ensure any issues are resolved.

Once live, your portal will show a vast amount of information on your line, your daily/monthly usage (even though you don't have a set limit) and other things such as interleaving status and reverse records for your assigned IP address(es).

If you've got any further queries, do let me know.

Tom
