Xilo

[link to this post]

After a week of being with Xilo, everything is spot on.

Speed, ping times and reliability have been the same as they were with Vivaciti (very good), albeit the two main differences are the response times of their support tickets - quicker & costing only £14.99 a month instead of £21.85 with Vivaciti.

They use the same LLU (C&W) as Vivaciti providing you go on their "Pro" packages as shown in the link provided above. So if you've got C&W LLU on your exchange and thinking of moving I'd certainly recommend that you give them a go.

There is no port blocking, throttling, usage allowance and AFAIK any FUP in place (due to distance from exchange I'm only on 2mb so don't get loads of usage out of my line anyway), there is a very user friendly control panel on their website showing usage (for reference purposes), connections etc.

I have been told that they use Tiscali LLU for their home and office packages, so can't comment on these.

If you've any questions, I'm sure they'd be happy to answer via the live sales chat link at the top right of their webpage.

I think Alken went round having a little rant about everything looking at the number of posts that have been deleted (all of them) lol.

I think it was more a bot using content from previous postings, to help post something that seemed slightly relevant! smile

Anyone know if uploads are included in the CAP amounts or are they unlimited?

That's correct - only for the capped products of course.
