If you haven't already done so lose the bell wire and check your stats again. For an attenuation of 61dB you'd expect a sync rate of the order of 3Mbps.

I can't help with the photos but I'm sure someone else can.

I take it the Bell wire is the orange wire connected at 3?

Yes, thats the one, unscrew the wire (DONT CUT just in case) and make sure it's out of the way when you put it all back together.

If it's an IDC connection (i.e. push fit, no screws) just cut it off.

Well, I disconnected the Bell wire but my router stats haven't changed.

Have e-mailed AAISP with my problems and waiting to see if they can offer any hope.
