Suggest the best ISP for me please

[link to this post]

Hi,

I do not have BT phone line, since I am a student living in a bedsit.
My post code is W8 5JR.
Fast and stable connection is more important than the price.
Suggest me the best ISP to choose.

Thanks!

The basic choices are ADSL over a BT phone line or cable broadband over a Virgin cable. For ADSL you need to get a phone line installed, for cable you need to get a cable installed.

Given those are a no go you could try Urban Wimax (a wireless broadband provider) or one of those wireless phone dongles. Of these I'd look into Urban Wimax first.

I doubt that the wireless options provide "unlimited" at a price you are prepared to pay.

It doesn't exist. ALL ISPs have an upper limit somewhere. Work out what you think you'll use a month and then we're better equipped to advise.
