ISP for york exchange

[link to this post]

I'm moving into a house that uses the york exchange. Currently has a BT line and we aren't planning on getting sky TV. We have our own equipment so I don't care what they send us. I'm thinking be* as that is what we currently use at my family home and I've not had any problems with the service from them.

If you don't fancy Sky TV then Be/O2 LLU seems to be the way to go. Might be worth considering O2 if you have an O2 phone. See user MKD's sig for a comparison of Be/O2.

The O2/Be comparison needs a fairly major revamp, which MKD is working on.

O2 today announced a complete change of products.

See the website bundles and broadband only, and this thread.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - O2 Standard.

I think York is one of the exchange areas being used to pilot FTTP. If that is the case, far better to go for that than one of the LLU operators surely?

Only possibly to trial FTTP on Bradwell Abbey at the moment

Personally I would go for BE wink

Be* Unlimited

Indeed. That certainly makes O2 less attractive.
