Pot luck.

If someone cancels/moves away, a port would be free but is likely to be filled as soon as it is by another company/customer who wants to use it.

vivaciti appear to traffic shape tho so be warned on that, although you can pay extra to be excluded from it.

Are you sure they traffic shape?

On the phone the guy stated that they don't, at least for the package I was talking to him about, LLU Unlimited.

If they do then I'm not going to get it, so if anyone else knows please post.

Cheers.

no I am not.

check here.

http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/unhappiness/f/39455...

and also on their website they have a file sharing addon which says turns shaping off.

so it seems they do but I am not going to say its fact as I could well be wrong.

Actually you might be right. They really don't explain properly what's what on their website, and the price list is misleading. That means I'm staying away.

Looking at ICUK now, they seem upfront about what they do, although pricier than the rest but I'm fine if I get what I want. If anyone has any warnings let me know!

Hi,
The 100GB FUP have lower priority for P2P and newsgroup type traffic, but the LLU unlimited is not part of this package and does not have any management.

These guys http://www.icukhosting.co.uk/broadband/

I just placed an order for their option 5, if it doesn't work out I'll cancel it, its one month. I'll let you guys know how I get on, and thanks everyone for your help.
