I used another a friends phone number on the website, that's why it said only up to 8Mbps, they live close to me, but they're on another exchange that offers only TalkTalk for ADSL2+, I've since used a family members number thats connected to the same exchange as me and it says "Your exchange is enabled for ADSL2+ so we can offer you our up-to 24Mbps service...." when I put that number in the IDNet page.

You should be OK for Fast Path as well then. Give them a ring!
