Hi DougMacp, you should find you will get about the same speeds, as your broadband connection will be Orange/BT 8Meg Max.

I was with BT for phone and 8Meg Max broadband with another ISP, I switched over to Orange LLU 20Meg for the lower priced broadband phone and line rental. The phone has not changed you get the same BT answering service and caller display.

Post your router stats and XRaySpeX will put them into his program to give you your estimated speed.

My 2Wire 2700HGV router stats, this morning 11:20am

Downstream Rate: 11389 kbps
Upstream Rate: 1128 kbps
Channel: Fast
Current Noise Margin: 8.9 dB (Downstream), 6.6 dB (Upstream)
Current Attenuation: 31.4 dB (Downstream), 15.9 dB (Upstream)
Current Output Power: 20.7 dBm (Downstream), 11.6 dBm (Upstream)

Those aren't your connection speeds, but your throughput speeds.

The connection speeds are within your router stats, similar to what E7er posted, but you keep omitting them.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 15.6 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 16.8 Meg Untweaked WBC

Hi DougMacp, as XRaySpeX states, you are omitting the important Downstream Rate and Upstream Rate from your posts. wink
