Are Sky and O2 LLU? If either aren't LLU you would be wise to remove them as a choice.
See http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search for the LLU operators at you exchange. o2? they A , no longer sell the old UNLIMITED plan all are subjects to some caps & shaping, and you would be moving back to the service that you previously had more or less , pointless really, as for sky if you really want your line fully LLU'd phone & adsl and are fully aware of the pitfalls of such a service, then fine

BT Total BroadbandYou can get our fast and reliable broadband with speeds of up to 8Mb. Where did you get that quote? Doesn't sound like Infinity; just ordinary ADSL BB and then only ADSL Max.
Did you try "Check your speed" here: http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProduc... ?
1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 19 Meg WBC

Requirement is simple :I am quite a heavy internet user /downloader. Also I require stable connection. A wired connection might be good. BeBox does provide that option.
Please help.
I have been using Be as they are clear that they don't do traffic management.
Also Be has had a great service ,but my actual connection speed has dropped from 17M to 8 M to 4M. And BeBox keeps getting unstable and they wouldn't give me a new one despite I have requested a few times, they always ended give me a Bebox sofeware upgrade... If your sync speed had dropped by so much then why wasn't it raised as a line fault with bt openreach by be support ?, the be box routers are not the best router by far, personally i would of got a netgear dg834v4 or gt, sh from flea bay just to see if that made an improvement ,& theres no way that i would of let it lie, or paid them for such a poor service if they refused to treat it as a line fault , AAISP maybe a good choice even if for only a short term if you have a line fault they will get it fixed if it can be fixed

I get the quote from bt inifinity webpage, but from the link you gave, it shows a totally different world, very nice !
31.6Mb download
10.0Mb upload
The price is £26.80 plus a BT line which is a bit more than Be but the speed is better too !
And it looks suitable for me , thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Can u comment on Virgin 30M unlimted ? It doesn't require a phone line.

Check the likely speeds on ADSL here: https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
If they are very low you may decide that cable is the only viable option (I don't know if Virgin's policies are compatible with your usage pattern, possibly not on the 30Mbps package).

Thanks for the good suggestion, the test result is below.
I am not sure if the ADSL related speed below is ok or slow ?? probably okish?
But it seems it doesn't support WBC FTTC yet !!
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Your exchange is ADSL enabled, and our initial check on your address indicates that your line should be able to have an ADSL broadband service that provides a fixed line speed up to 2Mbps.
Our check also indicates that your line currently supports an estimated ADSL Max broadband line speed of 5.5Mbps; typically the line speed would range between 4.5Mbps and 8Mbps.
Our check also indicates that your line currently supports an estimated ADSL2+ broadband line speed of 8Mbps; typically the line speed would range between 5.5Mbps and 12.5Mbps. Our test also indicates that your line could support an estimated ADSL 2+ Annex-M broadband upstream line speed of 1Mbps and downstream line speed of 8Mbps; typically the downstream speed would range between 5.5Mbps and 12.5Mbps.
Your cabinet is planned to have WBC FTTC by 31st December 2011.
Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 31.6 Mbps and upstream line speed of 12.6 Mbps.

O2 is the same as Be* there on the same network, i was with the for 3 years and after loosing 5Mbits decided to go else where, i chose virginmedia 50Mbit and really wish i had not, gaming is awful iplayer and other streaming video.
what ever you decide AVOID Virginmedia, 9 months of connection 9 months of problems

Holy , really ?
I was checking the Virgin media cable subform here and the review is generally ok.
What was your problem with 50M unlimited ?
