Past tense, because (a) I think (not 100% sure) he ended up sticking with DSL in the end (b) the blog isn't there at the moment and any relevant stuff doesn't appear to be Googlecached.
Back in October 2010 there was also talk of a WiMax trial for 300 homes on the South West side of the island from comedy ISP H2O Networks/FibreCity/i3 or whatever they were called at the time:

Also back in 2010 an outfit calling itself BlueNowhere (with an 0844 phone number, a CEO called Harry Aldridge, and a registered office address in Hatton Garden, London?) also talked about WiMax on Anglesey:
