ADSL Max. Unlimited options?

No 21CN, LLU or Fibre.

I'm currently considering.

BT. Least likely to remain unlimited I suppose.
John Lewis. Like plusnet but no peak usuage, seems alright?
Orange. The forum on here looks full of complaints and it's my least favourite color. I like a good green.

Is there any options out there that I'm missing? That won't cost me over £35 a month (line rental included). I know I'm asking for a lot, but I have a family and limits just aren't feasible.

100GB FUP now?

I would say that BT were the MOST likely to remain unlimited.
They have the biggest customer base and just imagine if they removed the unlimited option. Everyone would flock elsewhere. Especially those with LLU available.

Personally I would choose BT as for non llu it's not priced too badly.

I would not worry about that when they advertise as unlimited. I would use what I want and dare them to cut me off or restrict my service.
Personally, I cannot see myself returning to B.T. while they charge the same for copper as fibre.

A note of caution on the 1st of june when post office new 100gb fup comes in, the package will no longer be sold/ advertised as unlimited instead will be 100gb

Yes, I am aware of such restrictions. But, ANY restriction in speed or whatever is ultimately restricting the total you might have otherwise used, which I would contest. While ISPs stubbornly refuse to drop the 'Unlimited' description on a service with limits, they will always be considered guilty of false advertising by many. You simply cannot modify the definition of 'Unlimited'.

I have taken a look http://www.postoffice.co.uk/sites/default/files/Fair... and item 2.2 states that current unlimited customers will be restricted in speed for excessive use. This is a major variation of contract which should give users the right to leave with no penalty. Conveniently there is no mention of that right.
I see the Post Office are offering a new package including anytime calls for £30.55. By the time you add caller display, you would be better off paying another 3 or 4 pounds for the totally unlimited B.T. service, which includes free Wi-Fi.

they are allowing customers to leave for free, before the fup went live they had this document up, seems it not ther no more. it said

1st June 2012 Post Office® Broadband Fair Use Policy Changes

The Post Office® Fair Use Policy has been amended and the new policy will come in
to effect on the 1st June 2012. The Post Office® has amended the �Usage Guidelines�
and �Fair Usage Policy Enforcement� sections of the policy.


The new Fair Use Policy can be found on the Important Information TABs of the Home Phone, Broadband Standard, Broadband Extra, Home Phone with Broadband Standard and Home Phone with Broadband Extra product pages.


Because the introduction of the new Fair Use Policy is a material change to the Post Office® Broadband Extra Terms and Conditions, you have the right to terminate your Post Office® Broadband Extra service without incurring early termination charges.
