Clara Gamer for new ISP?

Anyone using Claranet Gamer subscription? I like the price and the off peak times are sensible. Trouble is, they want a 12 month contract despite no router etc.
Anyone vouch for this ISP? Good speeds, consistent, good support? They used to be good for dialup back in the 90s!

And their Gamers link has been dead for a few weeks now. Says it all. Avoid. No comms in their Claranet subforum here in a long time.

I use Claranet gamer package and it is very good,also there customer service is the best I have used,such dedicated team that will always help...no problems with them,,,,,Very good..I even have 24month contract so they must be doing something right...

I couldn't understand why being on a 24-month contract means the ISP is doing things right. To me it means you can't easily get out if they aren't.
