Why is this. Often by having a bundle providers are happy to make a loss on one service as the profits are so big on another service. Hence the best discounts come with triple play services.

Plus having it all under one roof makes billing easier. The customer service isn't necessarily worse either. Sky customer service is actually quite good I find. Never been to India, always UK, Scotland or Ireland. Not very often script monkeys. I've had chats about cocktails and nights out with the staff. They're a friendly bunch overall usually with a sense of humour. Found out one of them lived on my street after a 30min conversation with them, we now actually chat quite a fair bit.

Just my two cents. I find other providers customer service to be often dull or even worse India based. I like having a little joke & chat to customer services.

Virgin isn't TOO bad but isn't brilliant customer service wise. Virgin seem to absolutely love placing you on hold. It's a real mix bag.
