Re: any suggestion for short term provider?

I'm reluctant to return to PN myself despite the exchange being 21CN WBC enabled and Market 2/3 for personal reasons, i.e. problems with support dealing with a line fault in the past.

However even though PN support was far from perfect over one single issue I don't think suggesting their current BB and line rental deals based on pricing alone is in any way preferential. If PN support was proportionately and consistently worst than other ISPs for end users then of course one would probably not suggest them even on the basis pricing smile

I went into the order process and filled it in with my details and during the order process pressed change on the 12 month contract & selected no contract

It added 2.50 monthly for having no contract

That's really good - so no contract on the BB just a 30 day minimum term, no setup costs but one would have to have a line rental contract for 12 months? And the line rental could be terminated early subject to a fee of from £4.80 per month?

That would cost £142.80 just to get out of the phone line contract after 6 months, without what had been paid for services. Small print obviously pays!

The OP is now talking about a room, presumably in a multi-occupancy house. As such, goodness knows what an ISP check on the address shows. It's unlikely to be the only line at the premises.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 53.4/16.8Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

like i move in 4july have to wait them for set up thing may took like 2 week, right?
then the contract might start as (let say 3th week?)
Then before l left the room (which is 3th january 2013)
when do i have to make a cancel, 3th of december?

i also check on Samknow website that you guy suggest

It was on this page.
Under point 4 there is a section beginning "Cessation charges don't apply if:"

I did think it seemed odd when I read it as I would have expected you would have to pay the fee under all circumstances of ceasing broadband.

Good Lord! Yes, you're right, and the way it is worded almost certainly excludes an error. Introduced with the two current products, along with an "if applicable" on the page I gave you.

Edit Delete time for me!
