Yeah free BB for a year, good deal, will check on deals next year. My exchange looks like it will be Fibre enabled early next year so fingers crossed Sky will do a deal to upgrade.

That's a great retention deal you can't beat "free unlimited BB" unless they offered it say for two consecutive years or more

I take it your line rental and calls are with Sky but do you have to have their Sat TV as well?

You could on O2. Many were able to have a year with them and be in pocket at the end, with a combination of free months and cashback sites, the cashback amounting to more than the months paid for.

I got a retention deal of sorts certainly not free, but not bad for a 20CN exchange, for moving (internal migration) from maaf to PN, I'm still surfing with maaf after four working days and six in total since speaking to the COT.

Hopefully will be surfing with PN by the end of the week

Yeah, have Tv with them , just saved £8 on that s well.

I know someone who got the O2 to Sky conversion deal.
HD tv, unlimited BB and line rental for £14.95/month for a year!!

I asked to get it but they were adamant that it was only to O2 customers, they wouldn't budge.
Told me I was a very valued customer for 7 years though. Well give me a better deal then!!!!!

Happy with the deal but could possibly have gotten even better.

I'm on a 20CN exchange only BTw up to 8Meg for any ISP's to offer, no LLU providers like Sky or TT so not a lot of "cheap" deals available, believe me you did very very well!

Remember a few things they don't tell you when you swap.

For instance, most providers will give you a good discount for paying the line rental a year in advance.
EE do it for the equivalent of £11/month instead of £14.50.
Sky were going to give me it for £9.95/month if paid upfront but when I called back to take the deal, they said "as of today that deal is no longer and it has risen to £11.70/month"??
Still better than £15.40 their new price come December.

Sure you'll get a good deal somewhere.

What swung it for me is the good customer service I get from Sky and BB has been reliable since I got Sky a few years ago.

Ha, saying they also didn't tell me that the Tv with HD bolt on has now become one price.
I was paying for tv package and an extra £10.25 for HD.
It's now all combined as Entertainment Extra + and they swapped me over. They also gave 10% off for a year which I only knew about after many calls to try and get a deal from them.
