Avoiding the BT DLM leaves you with Sky, TalkTalk, plus TalkTalk and Vodafone (ex C & W) resellers such as vivaciti and xilo/uno. Maybe AAISP? Zen have some LLU presence these days, but few exchanges.

I suggest an initial move on a monthly contract to a BT Wholesale-based ISP, as you will almost certainly be on a different line card/MSAN at the exchange from what you were on when you had the problem. As that went away with the switch to Be, the implication is the line card was the issue.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 59.2/14.4Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Thanks for the advice.

What I think I shall do is wait for the move to $ky, see how it goes on a monthly contract and then jump ship if/when we get fibre at LS10 4SQ. Should $ky not be able to match at least the BE speed I think I will try AAISP as I believe they are good at getting faults sorted.

If your speeds do end up terrible sky aren't bad at resolving faults. I've had a tricky one before and yes it took a months or so & yes I got annoyed it took so long but ultimately sky kept me informed almost daily and I had a personal email to somebody. I had around 5 or 6 engineers too.

When a fault becomes serious you're allocated to somebody at a department called cst
