Here's the results from checking my address:
Above the table it should say about an exchange and a cabinet (or none)?

That says that estimated 14 - 35 Meg FTTC, depending on quality of you 'last mile' phone line, and about 4-5 Meg ADSL2+ are available. But what are you getting now?

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC

Actually FTTH and FTTP are the same. Openreach talk of FTTP since they serve both homes and businesses so the collective premises is the better product name.

When you say 'maybe the hallway' that is called FTTB.

He could but would still require paying of line rental

But TalkTalk has their network filtering as an option and uses the IWF system, which some consider censorship.

It's not that your listed requirements are unreasonable, apart from the price you seem to expect to pay , But an ISP that could provide all of them just doesn't exist neither does the actual full fiber service in a lot of areas

The nearest you will get to ticking those boxes would be a FTTC service such as a 40/10 product (based on the estimate the 80/20 may not be of benefit) to you and would cost you more, and it would be with one of the smaller ISP's who offer unlimited , but you would still have the line rental each month as well, and the monthly subscription would be more expensive then you are currently paying , £35-£40 per month for broadband , but it would be uncensored no filtering /web blocking no throttling ect
You could choose to go with primus for the line rental as it's about the cheapest out there,@ £5 pm unless they have increased the price so a fttc based bb & line rental for £40-£45 pm all in,
Or if you chose one of the mass market ISP's you would get the same FTTC bb a bit cheaper maybe, but you would have a censored internet as most if not all block some web sites, and subscribe to the IWF but a vpn/proxy would circumvent those blocks

putting the requirements aside for the moment then, what would be your personal recommendation?
