You can actually get £131.25 from Topcashback if you take out the Unlimited Fibre Extra Broadband and Homephone from plusnet at the moment.

Lol I love how the exclusives deals switch between the cashback companies. Top cashback were offering about £100 then down to £35. Quidco then offer £100 and when that ends top cashback goes back up smile

Im a little annoyed about it as got the adsl broadband deal for £1.49 from plusnet with £50 cashback from quidco last week but had i waited till this week I woud have got £84 from topcashback. As you say they seem to rotate the cashback deals between each other.

Thankfully the difference between my quidco cashback and the potential topcashback offer is only £1 smile

The fact that AAISP use Talktalk wholesale extensively makes me feel positive about their backhaul, but is it the same for retail customers?

Absolutely! Been with TalkTalk for nearly 4 years now and been very happy with the speeds. Was lucky enough to be given a static ip on their ADSL2+ offering in 2010, but was told to bog-off when asked for the same on 80/20 FTTC. Moved to TT Business a few months ago to get a static ip and been very happy. You pay slightly more with TTB but you get top class UK based phone support almost on a par with AAISP but certainly as good as the likes of Zen, IDNET etc but without the eye watering prices smile

Just out of interest, what do you actually pay? What does that include?
I'm on the "Talk Anytime" call plan which costs £4.50/month
Plusnet Unlimited Fibre - Market 2/3 charge - £19.99

So for that basic package: £24.49

I then have Caller Display @ £0.99

Last month I made 3hrs 25mins of calls to UK Landlines (£0.00) and my kids made 11mins of calls to mobiles via the landline instead of using their mobiles which added an extra £1.88

I paid the line rental upfront using the Line Rental Saver which as of Nov 2013 cost me £137.88 at £11.49 a month. (I've just checked today and I can actually renew for the next period at that same price of £11.49 which I might do in order to beat any potential price rises given BT have just increased theirs to £16.xx).

So including line rental, I pay a minimum of £36.97 / month.

I'd recommend sky been on the pro fibre package for 15 months

£50 a month is a bit steep though.

I can echo baby_frogmella's TalkTalk experience.

I was very nervous about switching to TalkTalk due to all the bad press.

However, the speeds have actually increased on our line and the connection is wonderfully stable. No issues with support either from the TalkTalk Community online.

If you get into bother, email Dido Harding, she'll sort out any of your problems smile

Sky Fibre Pro 80/20 with Static IP myself but only thing thats bad about it is there CDN as is up and down! Other then that is an ok ISP, If you wont "The Best" you would have to pay bit more and don't go with major/oversubscribed ISPs like TalkTalk/Sky/Virgin etc look into AAISP/Zen/Xilo smile but saying all that is what kinda area we all live in, Some areas are fine some are quite bad.

1999-2004 Freeserve/Wanadoo Anytime 56K Dial-Up, 2005-2007 Legend Communications ISDN 128K (Childrens Home) 2007-2008 Telewest/Virgin Media 2Mb/256Kb -> 2009 4Mb/768Kb -> 2010 10Mb/1Mb -> 2011 100Mb/10Mb 2013 Sky ADSL+2 8Mb/920Kb
Now: 2013 - Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro 80/20 Synced; 52Mb/16Mb - TV: Virgin Media XL TV with a Samsung TiVo 1TB box
