However, I will still probably go ADSL 2+ First, as Fibre guaranties a longer setup time and engineer visit, ADSL 2 does not.

SWITCHING to EE... Switching is easy moving your broadband to EE couldn't be simpler, but give 4 weeks notice.
How much notice do I need to give for the move?
It usually takes up to 4 weeks to organise, but can take longer especially if we need to send an engineer out to set up the phone line. So it's best to arrange as early as possible, so we can make sure you're all up and running when you move into your new home.

Plusnet are about to release their TV service for Fibre customers, don't know if it'll be free yet but even then, their fibre prices are significantly less expensive than EE and their traffic management policy is less strict, it's a win-win situation. EE customer service is most definitely terrible and frustrating more often than not.

EE Traffic management is to make sure users obtain good home broadband speeds and to prevent certain users hogging the network.
