The only person to have mentioned debit cards is you. I can't see why you're making a fuss, you asked the question then answered it.

And the OP hasn't told us why he wanted to call Customer Services. The card discussion could easily be completely irrelevant. It certainly can't reach an conclusion wrt the OP's problem, whatever that is or was.

A complete waste of time.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.

Clearly you don't get it....

Incorrect advice given is not good.
Even when asked, the person posting this advice, still failed to correct it. Even compounded it by getting the answer to the question wrong.

The reason for asking about debit card/Direct Debit. Was that is how most people will pay....

As has been pointed out this is getting off topic to the OP's post. Which was to say the least very vague and open to question as to if the company is trading still or simply not answering the calls in a certain department.

That isn't what happened. He was talking about credit cards. You asked the question about debit cards and then answered it.

Where was the incorrect advice? The statement made by 2 posters was correct. They just didn't mention debit cards.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Now Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk

HERE

In fact even hk11 1st post is factually incorrect. As it fails to note the range that CCA covers.

So people failing to mention there are other options. Is correct advice then?
