Migrate from AAISP to IDnet?

Currently with AAISP on the 250GB Home1 account, but I am chewing up my allocation something rotten, and topping up 50GB at a tenner a time is killing my wallet!

I could upgrade to the 1000GB package, but, my usage from month to month is rarely the same - some months I use a lot less, so I cannot justify £60 a month for fibre, just in case.

I was thinking of migrating away to IDnet, at circa £45 a month for their mid range speed FTTC, but with unlimited usage.

I don't want to leave AAISP, but the economics for my usage suggest I would do better to get an unlimited package so I'm not worrying about caps from one month to the next.

Would IDnet be the best migration for me? They seem to get good reviews? I looked at others, BT, Plusnet, Sky etc, but none seem to really do anywhere near as well on customer service. Zen was an alternative, but they want £55 up migration fee.

My line is very stable, but it's when things do go wrong that I don't want to be fobbed off or spend days/weeks waiting for it to get fixed and hours on the phone to a call centre.

Exactly the situation I faced with AAISP. Adding another £10 per month most months to their 150Gb service to get by, plus £13 per month to another supplier for my line pushed my bill s up to £60 per month plus a few calls for what was still a limited service. AAISP customer is superb, but so is the supplier I have returned to. Unlimited 80/20 FTTC for £1.50 more than the AAISP 150GB limited service. I am back with Freeola. Top customer service, that I only left originally as they did not do FTTC at that time. Their service includes free static IP address, unlimited email addresses from a choice of hundreds, so you can be XXX@your favorite football club or whatever and the service includes free hosting and web site software should you be at a loss with HTML coding. Line is very stable with no errors or congestion.

You are welcome. yes, aware of the Freeola line rental option and though I don't make many calls and have other options such as https://www.1pmobile.com, 1p Skype and Sipgate, I like the option of landline calls. Mine are no more than 1p, with per second billing and no call connection fee or contract, so feel I have a pretty good combination of options.

Been with them since November last year, no problems at all. They are marginally slower than Zen and A&A based on hourly speed testing (from time to time), but this does not bother me at all. If you do a lot of gaming, you may have to go with either their gaming package (expensive!) or add the "higher traffic prioritisation" feature on to your account. Native IPv6 as standard, which is also nice.

Do you offer usage stats?

Sorry for the late reply. We are working on adding broadband stats and pretty graphs into accounts right now, at the moment stats only show for customers on capped tariffs.
