Have you checked if the Hub3 is okay in modem only mode?

Personally I never like to use an ISPs router anyway. I found a dramatic improvement on my friends connection with the Hub2 in modem mode and a router with OpenWRT as the OS and SQM QoS enabled.

Sadly there are no guarantees for speed and reliability for gaming, Virgin are typically faster and a more expensive ISP on the BT network are typically more reliable for gaming. Only lucky people on FTTP or really close to the cabinet get the best of both worlds.

We would look to offer a VoIP line if customers wanted a phone service. It�s cheaper and offers more features but the majority don�t want a phone service at all so we haven�t added it to the product set as yet.

If it was a stumbling block for a potential customer then it would be no big deal to add.

Well, I believe not much but why not join us and find out? If you find something that is incorrect then I will personally ensure you are not held to contract. We genuinely only want happy customers and will always look to do what we can to achieve this, even if my English grammar occasionally lets me down!

I understand that hub3 in modem only mode - and using a decent router in addition - bypassed the issue of inadequate cpu in the hub3. However, I read some articles that indicated that there were additional problems brought about by the hub3 in modem only mode, and these were repeating and unavoidable (need for frequent restarts)
