New FTTP Provider Recommendations

[link to this post]

It's that time again, contract is almost up with Zen on my 900 Mbps FTTP connection. I really want a static IPV4 (I run services from home), IPV6 is a nice to have but don't really use it yet but I guess it's time I did for xboxes etc. Not interested in 1.6Gbps as the upload is only 5Mbps faster than the 900 offering from what I can see.

Want to avoid 24 month contracts, even Zen tie you into an 18 month contract these days.

Good support is a must, Zen have gone downhill since I first joined them and A&A is too rich for my blood as the entire house are downloading 5TB per month and an average upload of 1TB.

Currently using a Unifii Cloud Gateway Ultra.

Cheers

Hey Martin,

I saw you offerings and will be signing up on your Pure Fibre 1000 offering as soon as my contract is up with Zen. Unless you bring 1600 to market before October smile

Cheers

I'm happy with Aquiss, no in contract price rises smile speed is consistent, and I was not affected by the 3 outages that happened last week.

I'm happy with Aquiss too.

I think they tick all your boxes: 12 month contract, static IPv4 and IPv6, bring your own router, responsive and clueful tech support.

I moved from Zen to File Sanctuary two years ago, and have had no issues with them whatsoever. They use ICUK for their core network.
