Vista disk..where is the repair option.

[link to this post]

I am having all sorts of problems with this pc and system error which is Microsoft software licensing service has stopped working.

In have created a restore point and done all the so called fixes on microsoft support site but nothing works.

Someone suggested i use the vista disk and try a repair but i dont get that option when i put the disk in the tray, all i get is show files or do a clean install.

So where is the option to do a repair as i do not want to reinstall vista and start from scratch and lose the many programs and features i have installed.

To do a repair you have to boot it up from the DVD.
