will win 7 upgrade be really clean install

I am awaiting delivery of a dell laptop with vista home premium and it is eligible for an upgrade to win 7 home premium. However I anticipate that there will be an aweful lot of dell software on the laptop to atart with. My question is when I upgrade to win 7 will I have to put up with dell' own software and add ons which I do not want.

I suspect that Dell are the only people who can give you an answer to that one. Why not ask them?
