How to use an IE tab in Firefox?

[link to this post]

I want to watch a streaming video feed on Firefox.

The site advises that if there are problems viewing the video, the user should "Try an IE tab in Firefox or even use IE". (I believe this is because the streaming application normally uses an Active X function, and Active X is not supported by Firefox).

IE works ok, but just how do I "try an IE tab in Firefox". I've searched the FF help without success.

You need to install an IE Tabs extension:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

Is the one I use, although there are others. Search for IE tabs from the Add Ons window will find them.

Thanks a lot.

Gosh, you can tell it is a really rainy Sunday morning with 15 views in the first 5 minutes!
