Missing e-mail

[link to this post]

I normally use a FSNET address, since 19 Dec a lot of mail appears to have gone missing.

I have "found" all of it in one of my completely unrelated Hotmail accounts.

Only found by accident.

Most of it in the Junk mail folder.

What is even stranger is that all the headers appear to be correct for FSNET.

Received: from me-wanadoo.net (localhost [127.0.0.1])
by mwinf3504.me.freeserve.com (SMTP Server) with ESMTP id DDE121C000A6

I am at a complete loss for an explanation of this.

All ideas will be very welcome.

From what?

What mail client, e.g Outlook Express, are you talking about (seeing forum is Window)?

Or do you mean a webmail a/c, which has nothing to do with Windows?

Or are we supposed to guess?

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg BB

Outlook Express used for the FSNET Acc. only.

The Hotmail Acc. is webmail.

Problem solved, Hotmail was set to pull in mail from other accounts.

But I never set it to do that, so that part is still a mystery.

The last round of MS updates changed some of the settings on my computer without my knowledge or consent so I would suspect that.
