Greetings.
I would very much appreciate some help.
I am getting the following message when I try to launch Mozilla Firefox :
' Firefox is already running but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system '.
I got a warning on AVG about a file
in C Drive
Document and Settings\username\Application Data \Mozilla\Firefox\Profile ....
So I did a crazy thing and deleted the Profile folder with numbers .
Further compounded the mistake by running C Cleaner which emptied my ' Recycle bin '.
I would really like to get back the ' Bookmark ' folder in Mozilla.
I even downloaded the latest Firefox 3.5.6 and launched the set up. Hoping that it would repair it.
I still get the above notice and am unable to launch the Firefox browser.
Any help in recovering the bookmarks would be appreciated.
I can then re-install Firefox if I have to .
I have downloaded ' Handy recovery 4.0 ' . I have not been able to figure out how to recover the data. And they allow only one file recovery per day.
I am using Windows 2000 Professional.
Thanks
JM
