Windows Media Player - DLNA

[link to this post]

Having installed Windows 7, I now have Windows Media appearing on my PS3.

I already use TwonkyMedia Server so do not need the Windows one.

Having looked through Media Player I cannot find a way of disabling this.

Is there?

Is it the windows media player network service? If so just find it in services and disable it.

You may have tried this, but if not:

1. In Media Player select the "Stream" menu.

2. Select "More streaming options...".

3. Click the "Block All" button.

4. In "Media programs on this PC..." choose "Blocked".

Hmn, on the Stream Menu I just get:

Allow Internet Access to Home Media
Allow Remote Control Of My Player
Turn on Media Streaming With HomeGroup

Odd since it appears on my PS3 but when I click on it, on my PS3 it shows no files.

I would just like it not to show on my PS3.
