I acquired the Lenovo from the nation�s favourite department store. It was an online purchase. I have dealt with customer services at a higher level already this year. There�s been no repetition since this time yesterday so I�m hoping it was just a fluke�.but who knows two months down the line. Even if there isn�t another shutdown I plan to write to the person at CS and describe the response of the store�s computer TS and Lenovo.

Assuming that is John Lewis then they are usually pretty good with these things?

Assumptions can be risky. wink

The CS people I contacted earlier this year were amazing...absolutely the best. I was not impressed yesterday. No TS advice only a phone call to Lenovo. Lenovo blamed the chipset driver. TS's best offer if the problem continued was i) a new power pack and ii) return for repair taking 2-4 weeks.
