Hi there,

When I follow that path, I only get as far as tools>options> advanced and there's no config editor

I'm using Thunderbird version 2.0.0.4 (20070604)

Bulldog Communications Unlimited Plus fekkin fast ADSL 2+ connection

On mine there's a Config Editor... button in the middle right of the panel.

I'm using same version as you. Did you make sure the general tab was displayed in advanced? Its on the bottom right hand corner.

Worked for me as I've just done it to test it.

It's just a shame that TB isn't configured as default to do something as basic as this..
