Spooler SubSystem App Error

My Girlfriends PC has this problem every few minuets will get as pop up saying that Spooler SubSystem App has stopped working, besides been [censored] annoying we cant get a printer to run on PC ( Epson all in one) the Scanner & copier works fine and is recognized by the PC but printer will not work even tho the PC knows its there ( new software found).

I have read all the links I could find but still not got a solution even tried that True sword program but alas still not working.

Tried to run SFC /SCANNOW but the Spooler SubSystem App Error will pop up before its finished which in turn stops it running.

PC is a E- System running on XP Home

Would recommend a complete uninstall of the Epson drivers and then re-install with the latest from the Epson website

tried both the above still not sorted, run virus scan nada, Spooler SubSystem App Error will pop up now about every 3 - 5 mins. tried the above and more before posting on here just seems unbelievable this problem

Should add this problem was there before we installed the Epson
