Help..Microsoft software licenising..?

Hi all.
I have Windows vista 64bit and the last week it has developed a problem,everytime i turn the pc on i get error messages flagged up window boxes telling me..Microsoft software licensing service has stopped working.

I have done the suggested fix which makes no difference so i have still not managed to sort it.

Have run all the adware removel programs and cleaners but microsoft are suggesting that this problem is caused by certain cleaner programs as it deletes the regestry entry and that why you get this error all the time.

I can scroll the internet but it will not let me click on various programs such as control panel ,windows updates and many more,just get a white box trying to load with nothing in it and a few seconds later the box closes and i get the error messages once again.

Any suggestions ..?

Try to re-installing Vista on the Vista dvd but do not formatting it or you will lose all DATA on the hard disk.

Looks like this is the only option at present and something i did not really want to do.

Does this get rid of all my email setting and cause other things to be lost.

If you have the full retail version of Vista then you could run the repair startup option via booting from the installation disk and requesting it to restore from a recent restore point.
